Architect, cartographer, creator and destroyer; these are the titles Armando Veve chooses for himself when discussing his imagined fantastical worlds.
Like building a sand castle, delicate lines and dots collect to form curious spaces that weave and dissolve.
Veve creates these highly detailed worlds using a single technical pen with a preconceived digital collage as reference.
Lines and dots tattoo with their rigour.
His images with their often bizarre and surreal content are reminiscent of a time when early cartographers, unsure of the reality of uncharted lands, would often embellish the truth with their imagination filling lands with mythical creatures. His work forms an atlas of floating dream worlds.

Edward graduated in Fine Art and then worked in art galleries and organised group exhibitions.
