Working under the pseudonym Letman, the Dutchman Job Wouters has garnered international recognition for his masterfully crafted decorative lettering and typefaces.

Faces, floors, walls and fabrics have all been adorned with work that blends graphic design, screen printing, graffiti, illustration, and painting.

 

 

New York Times Magazine, Playboy, It’s Nice That, Creative Review, Audi, Heineken, Dries Van Noten, Tommy Hilfiger, Eastpak, and Universal have all commissioned Letman, hankering for his handmade style, a synthesis of illustration and lettering,

 

 

In July Gestalten released Letman: The Artwork and Lettering of Job Wouters a beautiful monograph of the Amsterdam based illustrator’s work featuring both commissioned designs for publications and brands as well as a selection of his personal work and sketches.
