Gentrification Without the Negative

Wow! Very inspiring. If only more cities could do this: transform an abandoned factory in the area to create a community that now leases space to woodworkers, performance artists, a coffee shop, painters, sculptors, and others.

That’s awesome. Unfortunately I’m afraid that the negative might catch up. That is what happened to Berlin and what seems to be happening in my hometown Leipzig right now. When a creative community has established a certain reputation the capital will follow up. More and more people are coming. Rents are going up and the community gets hurt.
