Every now and then you see a project or body of work that leaves you in awe – this is one of those times. Jason de Caires Taylor’s combines the main passions in life, namely photography, scuba diving, sculpture and underwater conservation, to create beautiful, poignant projects.
Aside from the sheer beauty of Jason’s work his projects not only draw attention to an important environmental issue, the decline of coral reefs – they actually help to fix it! Jason’s statues are designed to create artificial reefs for marine life to colonise. This is art on a whole new level.
