Anu was a friend of mine. She wrote poetry and often posted in SethNet and in the Nagew writing group. She seemed to see the best in people, even in me! She wrote poetry about everyday things and about the beauty that she found in life. I interviewed Anu and the interview was posted in the June, 2006 issue of the SethNet Journal. You can find the interview here:

About that time, I had talked with Anu about adding a section for her here on OtherFocus and I promised her that I would do that. In December of 2006, she died in a traffic accident in Mumbai, India, where she lived.
I have had nothing but trouble with the web publishing software. As I write this, two years later, I am unable to update because of 'server problems' but I will solve that problem or else. In short, for this reason and for others not mentioned, it has taken two years for me to update anything on OtherFocus.
Anu - in some ways, I hardly knew her. In other ways, she was one of the best friends I have ever had, and I didn't know that until she was gone. I have collected every poem that she ever posted and I have saved them in a large text file. I don't believe that anybody else has done that, so this text file may be the only copy of all of her works.
Some of works and graphics that I am using here were also used in a “Memories of Anu” article that I put together for the December, 2008 issue of the SethNet Journal, so if this looks familiar to anyone, that’s why.
As I promised her, this is "Anu's Place", and here are a some of her simple, beautiful works.
