Every Spring is a New Road
The Inner realms turn As our Inner Selves yearn For a reflection of intent And a taste of fulfillment
Where else would I be now? I've time, if you'll allow I'll tell of Selves behind faces Seen in thousands of places
Places, people, they're the same Events I've been, without a name They mix together in my dreams Imaginations, taken to extremes
The beloved friends of my youth Companions, searching for truth Fell, one by one, along the way One by one, they've gone astray
I see dear friends, wearing faces Of names, there are no traces In the games we share nightly Essence shines forth brightly
Who are you, nameless playmates Waiting beyond Dreamland's gates? I fear the time when it will seem That this waking life is the dream
And at that time, will I laugh Because I didn't even know the half? The answer lies beyond death's door A threshold I've crossed before
But not just yet Because I have met New old friends again Where have they been?
Once again, Things are turning But it is not Chaos churning No, it's turning for my learning Curiosity is always burning

(Inquisitiveness killed the cat, And curiosity brought him back)
