Writing poetry is something that I never would have done when I was a logical person. One night I just decided to start typing and I ended up with "I Say to You". It's a kind of weird 3 line verse but the words really speak to me, or speak for me. It's funny, the message could well have come from the clansman focus but at that time I had not heard of him. You can read this poem by clicking on the button.

I wrote a number of poems in the same verse style. After a few months I thought I would write poems that rhymed. "Gods and Other Fairies" is an example of this style.

By most standards, I do not write great poetry, but I don't care. It's fun and very revealing too. I see it as a way of improving communication with my inner self.

Recently, I wrote a few that do not rhyme. I feel that having to rhyme can dilute the meaning sometimes. "The Lagoons of Bahrish N'Atarre" is an example of this type of poem. Actually, it is in four parts and I have included two here.
