Polygonal Landscapes by JR Schmidt

×

JR Schmidt is a 3D Artist & Motion Designer based in New York, USA. He has created a number of geometric landscapes with a surreal fairy-tale vibe. His worlds are composed of playful colors, castles, waterfalls, and small villages that are all detailed & formed by polygons. They immediately reminded me of levels that would be played in video games similar to Mario & Zelda. Let your imagination run free in these fantastic landscapes!

How is this made? Just keep drawing triangles with the pentool by hand? Would take ages
