Christopher Paul and Sarah Mick put together this excellent branding exercise and associated collateral for their senior capstone project. It is a hypothetical branding/identity for a proposed high-speed railway in their home of Wisconsin. In Christopher’s words,
‘We were inspired by vintage travel ephemera with the mid 20th-century.’

They covered all major mediums – print, online, mobile – everything from posters, smartphone apps, business cards, right down to company pens and actual plane tickets. Impressively thorough!
They make great use of illustration with restrained colour and rich texture, as well as excellent typography and print & production techniques.
